Chinese people believe that fierce beasts can scare devils away. As the King of the Beasts, tigers are best suited for this job. Toddlers wear tiger shoes to be protected from their very first steps.

The shoes are made from rich blue velvet and are accented with black tiger heads. Each pair is individually hand sewn by Grandma Wang, a villager in Shandong province. The shoes measure 5.5 inches long and 2 inches high. They are cute on your child’s feet or add an adorable oriental accent to any room.
