Handcrafted by an artisan in China's Northwest, this exquisite, colorful piece features a Chinese baby in tiger hat and tiger shoes holding a tiger toy.   The creatures on the baby's big bib are used to protect the baby in Chinese tradition. The baby's smiley face shows the joy of playing with the tiger toy.   Chinese people believe that fierce beasts, like tiger, can scare devils away and protect their children . Children's wear with tigers is very popular in China, especially in rural areas.
